Ferocactus schwarzii cactus Features
Plant morphology: The plant is solitary, oblate to spherical, with a diameter of 35-40 cm and a green body color.
Ridges and thorns: It has 13-19 straight ridges with obvious transverse ribs, and the areoles are densely arranged, with epiphytic hairs near the top growth point. There are 3-4 needle-shaped peripheral thorns; 1 middle thorn, new thorns are yellow, and old thorns are light brown.
Flowers: Orange-yellow bell-shaped flowers are produced at the top in late spring and early summer, with a diameter of 4-4.5 cm.
