Boobie Cactus Features
Morphology: Myrtillocactus geometrizans v. Fukurokuryuzinboku is a variety cultivated in Japan, known for its unique stem shape, which resembles a woman's breasts. This cactus is very similar to the common Myrtillocactus geometrizans (also known as "blue candle"), and its blue-grey stem is columnar, composed of swollen warts, and is almost unbranched. The warts are equipped with 3 to 5 sharp spines, which are longer at the base of the stem and shorter towards the top.
Flowers and Fruits: This variety blooms in March, with very small greenish-white flowers; the plant also produces small, edible purple fruits.

- Myrtillocactus geometrizans v. Fukurokuryuzinboku is a slow-growing cactus that usually does not flower until it reaches 60 cm in height; it can reach a diameter of 4 cm and a height of 4 meters.
Boobie Cactus Special Care or Planting instructions
- Light
Light shade is required during the seedling period, and full sun is required in the later stage.
Temperature: This cactus will die at temperatures below -4°C and suffer at temperatures below 10°C.
- Water
Water regularly in the summer, but water only after the soil is completely dry. Watering can be stopped in the winter, but if you find that the stems are wilting, you need to water moderately.
- Soil
Well-drained soil is required, and the best mix includes loam, sand and pumice.
- Fertilization
During the growing months of spring and summer, you can fertilize moderately, using a diluted balanced fertilizer or a special cactus fertilizer, about once every 3 weeks.
- Propagation
