Gymnocalycium stenopleurum cactus Features

Shape: This cactus is globular to slightly flattened in shape, with a bluish-green or grayish-green body. It remains compact, making it ideal for small pots or indoor displays.

Ribs: Gymnocalycium stenopleurum usually has between 8 and 10 broad, rounded ribs, each with tubercles along the edges.

Spines: Its spines are short and typically radial, not particularly sharp or aggressive. They are white or pale brown and form attractive clusters around the areoles.

Flowers: One of its most distinctive features is its large, showy, funnel-shaped flowers, which are often white to pale pink. These flowers can be as large as 2 inches (5 cm) and bloom at the top of the cactus, creating a beautiful contrast with its bluish-green body.
